However, this will freeze the first frame in your clip by default. Isolate a single frame<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First, you\u2019ll need to isolate the frame that you want to freeze. Change clip speed to Freeze Frame<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now that your frame is isolated, you can freeze it by right-clicking on it, then selecting <strong>Change Clip Speed<\/strong>. This gives you precise control over creating different speed changes within a single clip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"h-1-select-your-clip-and-activate-retime-controls\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Select Freeze Frame<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, blue triangles should appear at the top of the clip, which shows that it\u2019s playing at a normal speed. Whereas if you isolate a section from the primary media and then freeze it, a clock icon appears to indicate the speed change.
